Romania 2007

Germany 2007

England 2007
Our second stop on our backpacking trip was England. We flew into London and stayed in Patrick's
grandma's husband's flat. It was awesome to live like a local for a while. While we were there, my eye developed a pretty severe sterile infiltrate and we spent the first day wandering the city, pharmacy to optomologist to hospital to Morefield Eye Hospital. We waited for hours, but I was seen and treated for free! The next day we took a double decker bus tour around the entire city. We saw Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus, the Parliment building, the Tower of London...etc. We took a river cruise on the Thames and I took way too much video. The next day we took a tour of Bath, Wiltshire and Salisburg. The Roman baths were really beautiful and impressive. We were lucky to see a university graduation in the town square that day. In Wiltshire we saw Stonehenge. It was really awesome.

Ireland 2007

After OSU graduation, Patrick and I backpacked through Europe. We started in Dublin, Ireland. We stayed at a hostel in the city and explored it all. We toured the beautiful county Wicklow countryside.
We rode the train from Dublin to Cork, climbed Blarney castle and kissed the stone. From Cork, we rode on to Kilarney, Kerry. We took a tour of the Ring of Kerry and it was beautiful! I held a lamb and named him, Murphy. I love Ireland.

Internship in CA
In the summer of 2006 I interned at Arktegraf Inc., a design firm in Sacramento, CA. I had a great experience learning the daily workings of a commercial interior design office. We took a work trip to Tijuana, Mexico to help
build a school in an impoverished colonia with noted architect, James Hubbell. I learned a lot and made some great friends!
